Effect of Gi Gak whal Tae San Extract on the Contractile Force and the Spontaneous Activity of the Isolated Rat Uterus

Abstract
|
|
|
This investigation was carried out to see the effect Gi Gak Whal Tea San extract on the contractile force and spontaneous activity of the isolated rat uterus.
The results of this study were as follows;
1. The contractile force and spontaneous activity of the isolated rat uterus to Gi Gak Whal Tea San extract decreased in effective doses.
2. The contractile force of isolated rat uterus to Gi Gak Whal Tea San extract was affected by cimetidine(3×10 exp (-7) M).
3. The spontaneous activity of isolated rat uterus to Gi Gak Whal Tea San extract was affected by cimetidine(3×10 exp (-7) M).
4. The contractile force and spontaneous activity of rat uterus to Gi Gak Whal Tea San extract were not affected by dichloroisoproterenol(10^-7M).
It is obtained that as results of those above experiments, Gi Gak Whal Tea Sar has histaminergic action on the uterine smooth muscle.
